The ministry of
the Church encompasses our beginnings and endings, from birth
to death. At some point in our lives, we will all face the
loss of someone we love and of course our own death too. At
St John’s we strive to serve and support the recently
bereaved through the ministry of funerals, whether here at
St.John’s or at the local crematorium. We seek to help
people through this very difficult period in their lives,
through sensitive pastoral care and by helping them plan the
funeral service of their loved one. Through this ministry
we seek to affirm the Christian hope of resurrection
