This year's Diocesan Weekend of Prayer takes place from 10th to 12th September 2010. The theme is 'Setting the Compass', the idea being that as we move into our Autumn programmes, we ensure that we are seeking God's direction for all we are and do, both as individuals and as the Church here at St John's. With fellow Christians in our diocese, travelling together on our journey of faith, we look forward to exploring the theme this weekend, in our family worship and in our prayers.

Prayer in its simplest form is being with God and resting in his presence
