Brownies is full of fun and exciting activities suitable for every brownie guide.
2nd Brooklands Brownies offers a wide range of ideas, games, activities and more importantly laughter!

  

 1st Brooklands (St. John's) Guides

This organisation is intended for girls aged 10-15yrs

The Guides meet every Monday 7.30-9pm, term time only.

We offer girls the chance to become a member of the world association of Girl Guides.
Each week we complete an activity based on our programme enabling girls to gain badges and awards for their achievement. Such activities include crafts, life skills such as first aid, games challenges - indoor and out, and outings such as bowling and swimming. We also celebrate certain events during the year enhancing the girl's awareness. We generally work in small groups to encourage team -work and end our summer term with a weeks camp in this country, or, for our second time, this year a trip abroad.

  1st Brooklands (St.John's) Rainbows

This organisation is intended for girls aged 5-7yrs.

Rainbows are the younger section of Girl Guiding U.K.
We meet on a Monday night at 5.15pm for our one-hour meeting.
At Rainbows we learn to listen and share, play together and join in with other Guiding events. We play games, do crafts and activities following topics over several weeks. We all learn lots of new things from each other, and above all have fun.
As there are not many Rainbow units, we encourage any would be Rainbow to put their name on our waiting list before they are five.
